    Transcendent polyphony from Occitania
Occitan music is the keyword for Duò Lavoà Lapò. Music from Occitania, which is the medieval name for the south of France and parts of Spain and Italy. This involves passionate polyphony (multiple voices) and rhythms that merge together, creating a trance-like atmosphere. The group is a duo, composed of Manu Théron and Damien Toumi, both on vocals and percussion. They bring out old and forgotten songs and present them in an innovative and enchanting way.

Polyphony means that individual voices seek different and complementary rhythms and melodies. These live and develop through a wonderful and inexplicable musical journey that Duò Lavoà Lapò has learned to master. The genre pays homage to the Occitan language and culture, and the duo is among the very first to promote this historical cultural heritage.
